It’s so easy you really don’t even need a recipe. Simply choose your favorite chocolate varieties and a candy topping. Here is what you need for Candy Cane Peppermint Bark:
How to Make Candy Cane Peppermint Bark
- 1 bag of white chocolate chips
- 1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate
- Peppermint Candy Canes, crushed
Place a little water in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover the pot with a glass mixing bowl and pour in the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir continuously until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Pour the chocolate onto a baking sheet covered in parchment paper. Spread it out with a spatula, but don’t get it too thin.
Place it in the fridge or outside (if it’s chilly) to cool. Once cooled, repeat the step process above with the white chocolate chips. Pour the melted chocolate over the cooled semi-sweet chocolate and spread it out. Sprinkle crushed candy canes over the white chocolate and cool.
Once the bark is completely cooled and harden, break it up into pieces. Enjoy a few pieces for yourself and then place in holiday tins or boxes to share with friends!
